Tomato Gravy


Preparation time : 10 minutes *Cooking time: 10 minutes * Makes 2 cups.  

Requirements:
4 chopped tomatoes 
1 chopped onion 
2 cloves crushed garlic (optional) 
½ teaspoon chili powder 
1 teaspoon sugar (optional) 
2 teaspoons oil Salt to taste
Method
Heat the oil and fry the onions and garlic for 1 minute. 
Add the tomatoes and cook until soft. 
Blend in a liquidizer.
Add the chilli powder, sugar and salt and boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
Health Information : A delicious accompanying sauce for many Western dishes. Rice in Vitamins A, C and K and chromium, it is good for the complexion too.
