Such Diseases time and again remind us the importance of controlling blood sugar.
High blood sugar levels affect the immune system and come in its way of fighting with disease causing agents like bacterias and viruses. The cells of our immune system are not able to catch and kill these organisms in presence of high sugar levels in blood.
Adequate control of blood sugar is impertinent in fighting and warding of such infections:

Symptoms of H1N1 flu are same as that of common cold ( viral fevers)

  • Running nose
  • Dry stuffy nose
  • Watering of eyes
  • Fever
  • Bodyache, Headache, pain in arms and legs
  • Cough
  • Vommitting
  • Loose motions
All or any of these symptoms may be present in persons suffering from Influenza
Precautions undertaken to avoid infection
Cover your nose with a mask while breathing in outdoor crowded areas.
If you are having cough , cold or any other symptoms of flu use tissue wipes instead of handkerchief.
Frequently wash your hands with soap.
