Vanilla Cream


Preparation time: 5 minutes * Cooking time : 10 minutes * Makes 3 cups.

 
 
Ingredients:
6 teaspoons chopped China grass 
3 teacups skim milk
6 teaspoon vanilla essence 
Low calorie swetener 
 
Cooking Method: 
 
Cut fruit or jelly pieces to serve 
Add ¾ teacup of water to the China grass and cook on a slow flame until it dissolves completely. 
Strain. 
Boil the milk and add the China grass .
While its cooling down add low calory sweetener to taste. 
Allow to cool to room temperature and then add the vanilla essence. 
Pour the mixture into a bowl and put to set in the refrigerator. 
Just before serving beat up the lightly seat cream.
 
*Serve with fruit and jelly pieces.
 
Health Information : A delightful low cholesterol, low fat alternative to cream which nevertheless provides adequate proteins and B12 Vitamins.
